There are plenty of other pieces that fit here, so stay flexible with the last spot. You can add a Shaman to pair with Arc Warden and Disruptor, You can add another Warrior Unit to pair with Tiny and Slardar, or you can add your fourth Primordial if you can pick up Enigma. The last space in this build is open and there are a couple of ways that you can go. From there you can mix in Morphling (Though not on this build) until you get to a point where you can add other pieces. Building off of these two characters, the Primordial Mage build allows you to stock up on cheap Primordials at the beginning of the match that can carry you all the way to the late-game, where you’ll add powerful magic to your arsenal and other strong pieces.Įarly game you’ll stock up on Razor and Tiny and then pick up Arc Warden when you can. Primordials are all the rage right now because of an incredibly overpowered Arc Warden and a super-cheap Razor. This makes getting this build off the ground a little bit easier, but it’s still going to need a little coaxing to get to the mid and late-game with your pieces in place.Īssassins – 6 Assassin Build With Multiple Interchangeable Parts With Enigma going to the Shaman Alliance they have made Venomancer less expensive in the early stages of the game. This kind of makes the Troll Warlord your final piece, which will round out the Troll Alliance. While this build still has a lot of strength post-patch, there have been some changes that have been made, including Enigma’s alliance switch. Depending on the build, you’ll also get the Demon Bonus for using Shadow Fiend (Warlock) and potentially other bonuses depending on your build. Pair this with the Trolls who get a boost in attack speed and you’ve got a nice balance of offense and defense. Necrophos and the Alchemist can both do great damage in the mid to late game. With multiple Warlocks you’ll see that your team becomes very tanky. The Warlock Alliance buff is that when a Warlock casts a spell they will form a link with another hero (the one who has the lowest health) and they’ll heal on each attack during the link. Think Knights to pair with Batrider until you can start adding pieces like the Alchemist, Disruptor, Necrophos, and Troll Warlord. Trying this Alliance you’ll find that you’ll need some strong line-holding characters at the start of the match. The Troll Warlock Build is one where you’re also going to need to tread water in the early part of a match, mixing and matching what you can while picking up the pieces that you need before your mid-game transition. The problem with this build is that you actually need to make it to the end game before you can really start taking advantage of the Warlock Alliance bonus as some of the more powerful Warlocks won’t likely be added to your team in the early goings.
